Bereavement Support

Bereavement Support

Following a patient’s death, Grant County Hospice bereavement staff is available to support surviving family members and friends throughout the grieving process.

Grant County Hospice bereavement support services are also available to all individuals throughout Grant County who are grieving a significant loss, regardless of whether the person who died was a hospice patient.  Grant County Hospice bereavement support resources include support groups, individual assessment and consultation, mailings about grief and loss, supportive phone calls, grief education program and special events.

We also offer a monthly Grief Support Group which is open to the public at no cost. This group meets the third Monday of each month at 1:00 PM at the Schreiner Memorial Library in Lancaster in Community Room A (just inside the main door).
